4 © Bull-Bruxelles 22-23.May 2003.4 In the Dialysis card is a microprocessor (usually referred to as ‘ smart card ’) the memory of which can be written for updates. The card is made of hard plastic, the size of a credit card and capable of containing up to eight pages of information (size 21x29,7 cm). The card is used and distributed for patient under dialysis and after transplantation. Active Memory Card
