2 The Office of Emerging Health Technologies (OEHT) is committed to the principle of utilizing emerging information and communication technologies to reach the demands of our healthcare system and the surrounding communities. Our lead-user group approach in testing and deployment of caring edge solutions in the delivery of healthcare enables us to be a national leader in wired and wireless technologies. With this mission, OEHT provides services to rural and urban patients and physicians in Alabama and beyond. About Us:

3 Current OEHT Projects: Bio-monitoring - A home-based chronic disease monitoring program, using inexpensive technology that collects relevant real-time physiological data and transmits it through a phone modem to a nurse reviewed database.
