A TRUE STORY There was once a poor Scotish peasant named Fleming. One day, when working on the field to earn his meagre salary to feed his family, he heard a voice coming from the nearby swamp crying for help !

Mr Fleming left what he was doing and ran towards the voice and, when he arrived, he saw a little boy sinking in the swamp, with only his upper part of the body above the mud and fighting desperately to stay afloat.

Mr. Flemming jumped to the rescue and saved the boy from a certain and horrible death. Next day, Mr. Fleming saw an elegant cart approaching his modes house and an elegant man came out introducing himself as the father of the rescued boy.

“Let me reward you", the man said. You have saved my son's life. “No, I can not accept any reward for a good deed” the Scotish peasant answered. But in this moment, the son of the peasant came out form the house. “Is he your son?” the rich man asked. “Yes, he is my son, Alexander”, the peasant proudly answered.

Then, the rich man said: I propose that you let me give to your son the same level of education I will provide to my son and I'm sure that if he is like his father he will become a man of good and we will both feel proud of.

Mr Flemming accepted the proposal and the son of the humble peasant attended the best schools and graduated from renowned Saint Mary's Hospital School of Medicine in London.
