5 What are Indicators? Indicators are a tool to help you focus your tobacco prevention activities and bring change to your community. They are also used to measure your progress for tobacco prevention. Examples: 24/7 Earned media that exposes the tobacco industry Creating ordinances that mirror state tobacco laws

6 What are Social Capital Assets (SCA)? Social Capital Assets are different because, they reflect participation, support, and empowerment to achieve a common goal in tobacco prevention. Examples: Extent of community activism among youth Increase community participation Provide training
