Purpose: Endorse an economic vision for SEE region and supporting actions up to 2020. Two themes: – Laying the basis for the knowledge economy. – Promoting regional value chains. 9

12 WITH THE FINANCIAL SUPPORT OF THE EUROPEAN UNION What is the SEE IC? The South East Europe Investment Committee (SEEIC) is a high-level regional body at the State Secretary/Deputy Minister level. Prime forum for regional dialogue on investment- related policy reform. It decides the strategy and programme of the thematic working groups under its auspices. Gives momentum to investment-related and competitiveness-enhancing reforms in the region.
