Nouns are words that name people, places, things, and animals.
Some nouns name a special person, place, thing, or animal. These nouns are called proper nouns, and they begin with a capital letter. SamTennessee New York City
People often have special titles that show respect for who they are or for the work they do. When a persons special title is written with their name, use a capital letter at the beginning of the special title. Lets look at some special titles. When you write, it sounds better to use peoples names and special titles. The officer helped me. Officer Smith helped me.
