International Master Program Creative Digital Technologies What is Interaction Design? Desinging interactive products to support people in their everyday and work lives. The design of sapces for human communication and interaction (interaction design is not software design, just like architects is not a civil engineer) On Interaction Design

Characteristics of Interaction Design Multidisciplinary knowledge (computer sciences, psychology, ergonomics, arts, sociology, design) Integrity of theories, methodologies, skills, and experiences. Multidisciplinary team work (computer supported cooperative work, CSCW)

Objectives The objective of the program is to provide students with knowledge, methods, and skills in creation, design, and management of digital products for applications in social services, business management, home, work environment, and industries.

Two Directions In Design –There are two directions that students can choose : 1. Human - Computer Interactive Systems (HCI), requires pre- knowledge on computer science and programming knowledge. Aiming at creating computer based interactive system (web design, mobile applications, etc. for e-business, e-health, e-learning, e-government). 2. Human – Machine Interactive systems (HMI), requires general knowledge on industry design and using design software tools (like AutoCAD, Pro/E, SolidWorks, Rhino, etc.), or human working environment design - ergonomics. Aiming at design interactive industrial products in people’s everyday and work lives.

Teaching, Examination English lecturing/Materials! Industrial projects and lab work (project- based learning, seminars, and invited key note speakers) Examination (all courses examination based on project assessment, oral presentation, and paper examination)
