2 Chapter 12 Proverbs 14:1 (CEV) Discuss lessons learned from celebrity women who have had unfortunate situations Double standards for celebrity and church folk Distinction between how we handle weakness as opposed to wickedness opportunity to exhibit God’s redemptive grace reminded of God’s judgment

3 Chapter 12 “We are no better or worse than the ones we criticize.” (pg. 203) Lesson #1: Learn how to rebound from mistakes and reposition our lives into power again. How do we bring ministry out of misery?

4 Chapter 12 Lesson #2 Learn what happens on the stage of life that causes even the well intended to trip, fall, or stumble in the spotlight of great opportunities....“forgiveness leaves a message.” “You can always begin again.”

5 Chapter 12 Respond to the following statements: “Often there is a great gulf between who we are and what we did.” “If we move in a new and better direction, others will notice. “Pour your energies into repositioning yourself into a woman who may have a tarnished past but who has a 24-karat future!”

6 Chapter 12 Discuss the side effects of greatness and the pitfalls of having it all, all the time Answer these questions: Have you learned how to make small adjustments to make a massive difference? Do you have great instinct for when to do what is needed? How are you using it to further your objectives?

7 Chapter 12 Discuss the beauty of a balanced woman (Proverbs 31:13-29) We can best live successfully by living in a manner that’s balanced and integrated, focused but not finalized, at peace with ourselves in a way that liberates all the talents within us. We must have the ability to sustain momentum. Learn how to use our energy and our awareness of time and season to our advantage.

8 Chapter 12 Are you “in the zone” or “in the flow?” Are you in touch with the rhythm of the moment?” Balance yourself and your successes; it’s a part of your safety and integrating it ensures wholeness.
