4. Throughout the Diocese all our Catholic schools are gathering at the same time for this celebration. This is an opportunity to look back over the Year of Faith and remember all it has meant to us. It is also a chance for us to celebrate the gift of young people in the Church and to remember the message of Pope Francis at World Youth Day. Francis told young people to ‘Go, do not be afraid and serve.’ Just take a few moments of silence now to put ourselves in God’s presence and to reflect on what that message means to us as young people in the Diocese of Hexham and Newcastle.

7. Loving Father, We have enjoyed opportunities throughout this Year of Faith to come closer to You and to reflect on our own journey of faith. As the Year ends we look forward to the new mission given to us as the young people of the Church.
