4 Benefits of Reflection Students are able to look back and decide how they want future work to look. Students become more aware of their preferred methods and styles of writing and work. Students can consider alternative approaches and make new risks for future work.

5 Challenges of ePortfolios Students can become easily overwhelmed. This is all new to them. The technology is new and learning it takes time. Teachers need to be committed to the process and not afraid to try new things.

6 ePortfolio and Asessment ePortfolios are a type of Authentic Assessment. A task with a rubric for students to complete. Schools must help students become proficient at performing the tasks they will encounter when they graduate. The school must then ask students to perform meaningful tasks that replicate real world challenges to see if students are capable of doing so.
