 This project will exercise the skills and abilities learned from the Construction Engineering Technology program.  The apartment is a theoretical build, but all activities and documents will be done as if it were actually being built.

 Preliminary Drawings  Rough Estimate  Site Assessment and Selection  Economic Feasibility Assessment  Decision on Building Layout  Investigation of Building Codes

 Wood Framed  Concrete Foundation  Estimated 3,826 sq. ft.  Estimated 957 sq. ft. for each unit.

 Gable Style Roof  6/12 roof pitch  Simple design makes it cheap and easy to build.

 Each building will have 4 units. ▪ Three bedrooms ▪ Two Bathrooms ▪ Kitchen ▪ Utility ▪ Living and Dining Room  Two story layout.  A rough estimate was done to give an idea of the cost.  3,826 sq. ft. @ $80 sq. ft.  = $306,080
