7 FIRST STEPS Which form? Legal form or not? How to chose a name? How to chose a logo?

8 PEOPLE How to chose board members? In general: president (aka chair), secretary, treasurer + ordinary members with trial period! vice-chair is optional, but is a good idea webmaster!! How to deal with differences in style, choices, taste... try to avoid voting

18 MEDIA ATTENTION Do you really need it? Yes! How to get press attention? How to write a good press release? a short introduction (1 page) a longer explanation (x pages) How do you release it & when? 2-4 weeks before reminder 1 & 2

31 STUTTERING MUSIC Talking Heads, Marilyn Monroe, The Jam, The Knack etc... Nationwide media attention stuttering music for one full hour advertised the program for a whole week before they made a top 10... Millions of people heard this music (5 radio stations, 5 TV-stations...) => they heard about ISAD and our message For one day, on the 22nd of October 2012, stuttering was 'cool' and 'hot’
