2 Flappers are… Rebellious Women who went against what they were taught

3 The Origin of Flappers The flappers came to be at the beginning of the women’s revolution

4 How the Flappers Started
The women started becoming a lot more independent after World War I, because the men were at war and the women became more involved with what was going on.

5 Hair The flappers hair were cut short into bobs, which was unlike most of the other women.

6 Makeup The flappers wore a lot of heavy makeup which
was also different from the other women of that time

7 Clothing They wore shorter skirts and lower cut tops

8 Style They were said to have amore boyish look.

9 Behavior Many of them drank alcohol Some even tried illegal drugs
The women were no longer considered to be conservative type women
