8 Tlatelolco Massacre Labor Unions protested the Mexican government Students gathered in Plaza de las Tres Culturas in Tlatelolco to call for civil and democratic rights o Government sent in tanks and soldiers o Dozens of protesters and civilians were killed and over 1000 were arrested
