3 Too Much Energy Did you know that household electronics consume more than 25% of all energy? Bigger TV’s use more power or energy An electronic device uses up lots of energy when it is turned off so unplug to save energy!

4 Harmful Environmental Issues Nitrogen Fluoride is more toxic than most greenhouse gases, and it is used in flat-panel television sets. It takes a lot of energy to produce electronics let alone use them. When it rains in the land-fills the bad chemicals can run down stream and harm animals and the air that we breath.

5 Here are some tips for “going green” Unplug any electronics when they are not in use like TVs, radios, hair dryers, etc. You don’t have to buy the biggest TV in the store stick with the one you have. RECYCLE old technology instead of just throwing it out.
