This Certificate is one of more than 120 certificate programs offered by Professional & Continuing Education Program characteristics: Primary audience: Post-baccalaureate, working professionals Duration: Three-quarter, nine-month course of study Courses contain practical information relevant to a professional working in a specialized field Instructors are recognized authorities in the professional community UW Professional & Continuing Education

Classroom-based Sections Online (Synch OL) Sections Held weekly at Professional & Continuing Education (Puget Sound Plaza) in Downtown Seattle May access a recorded version of each class meeting via Adobe Connect Meeting Participants join each class meeting via Adobe Connect Meeting license reserved for each online participant different URL than this Orientation May attend the classroom-based sessions occasionally May also access recorded version of each class meeting via Adobe Connect Meeting UW Professional & Continuing Education

Online Participants Technology requirements: Access to a desktop or laptop computer that meets the system requirements for Adobe Connect Pro Meeting ( see 2) High-speed broadband Internet access 3) Headset with microphone and USB connector for Voice- over-Internet Protocol (VoIP) - optional UW Professional & Continuing Education

7 Registration Information
Space reserved for each certificate program student until registration deadline prior to start of each quarter 2 weeks prior to class start Registration confirmation (aka Student’s Transaction Summary)—your receipt and proof of enrollment that contains the following information: Withdrawal and refund deadlines Student ID number Use the registration confirmation + photo ID to receive your Husky Card Class schedule and location UW Professional & Continuing Education

Parking – Standard Parking adjacent to Puget Sound Plaza and the Cobb Bldg. Entrance – left turn off Union Street between 3rd and 4th Avenues Exit – right turn from parking structure onto University St. between 3rd and 4th Ave. $8 flat rate from 5 p.m. until midnight $18 flat rate if entering before 5 p.m. King County Metro Transit – Trip Planner ( The Trip Planner helps you plan your public transit commute. It provides information and schedules for public transit in King, Pierce, and Snohomish counties, including Sound Transit's Regional Express bus routes, Sounder commuter rail, Washington State Ferries, and the Seattle Center Monorail.
