This food group provides protein, vitamin B and iron, the basic nutrients for building a strong healthy body. You need to have from 2 to 3 servings from this food group every day. Vitamin D is found in meat. Meat, fish, chicken and eggs are a very good source of proteins. For example: if you eat some chicken with potatoes you will have some proteins, and carbohydrates.
