12 Fate_Feasibility_study / Peter Karlsson12 C-Cover investigation The concept for C-cover is not fixed. Just now there are three different types of C-Cover assembly. Type 1: 2K, Insert moulded metal, three LDS Antennas Type 2: 1K, Insert moulded metal, Main antenna assy LDS, Sheet metal GPS and Wlan antenna Type 3: 2K, Assembled (heat staked) metal insert, three LDS antennas

14 Fate_Feasibility_study / Peter Karlsson14 Part Name: C-Cover Part 3D Version: XXXX Material First Shot: Grivory GVX-5H ?? Material Second Shot:PC/ABS Xantar LDS 3711 Insert Material:SUS 305 ½ H t=0,3 ?? Cosmetic:Painted (Masking for metal and connector areas) Weight / Vol. Secondary Operations:LDS, Plating Main Technologies:2K moulding, Insert moulding General Part Information Major Risks Identified 1.Plating. The metal insert can be a problem in plating. The cupper and nickel will be plated onto the metal. 2.LDS. The antennas is placed in both ends of the cover. Connection areas and pattern must be carefully planed to fit in LDS machine. 3.Painting. Metal and connection areas must be protected when painting.
