Rite- a formal or ceremonial act in a religion or as a social milestone. (rites of baptism; getting one’s driver’s license at age 16 is a rite of passage into adulthood)

33 32. Principal, Principle Principal-A person who holds a leading position, especially the head of a school (your PAL), the sum of money owed as a debt, OR the main form which all other forms can be derived. Principle-A basic truth or statement or general set of moral or ethical standards.

34 33. Affect, Effect Affect-To have an influence on; bring about change in (verb). Hint: Affect starts with an A and is an ACTION verb. Effect-Something brought about by a cause or agent; a result (noun).

35 34. Accept; Except Accept- to receive something Except- to exclude something or leave something out.

36 35. Reign; Rain Reign- the time period a king or ruler has control over a kingdom Rain- (Okay, you know this one! Come up with y our own definition!)
