2. Project Overview Objective: Develop a uniform patient/financial tracking tool in an effort to improve the efficiency and financial accountability across the Medical Center. This process is incorporating the five practices of successful leadership as outlined by Kouzes & Posner in The Leadership Challenge. 2

4. Current Tools Began identifying how Departments are currently tracking participants in clinical trials. Due to the diversity in support, and the experience in each Department, there have been many tools developed. The next slides show several examples. 4
