4. In Isaiah 42, the prophet gave his premier prophecy on the way in which worldwide justice will triumph under Jesus’ leadership. Jesus’ ministry is seen in context to Isaiah 42 ( Matt. 3:17, 12:18, 17:5; Luke 18:7- 8 ).

5. Is it going to get better, or is it going to get worse?  Darkness at its height, but also Light  The Fullness of His kingdom and justice will not come until He is bodily with us on the earth

6.  The prophesy of justice by Isaiah 42 was partially fulfilled by the first coming of Jesus, but will be ultimately fulfilled by His second coming

7.  A message needs to be clear to our world that justice is coming to the earth and only those who have the blood of Jesus covering them will be found just

8.  Jesus is the Father’s answer to injustice (Is. 42)  Social Justice has become the buzz word but can be somewhat deceptive  It deals with the issues of the oppressed which can have good in it

9.  Social justice often doesn’t deal with the deeper issues of dealing with the oppressors and the ultimate cause of injustice … which is sin.

13. 13 The LORD shall go forth like a mighty man; He shall stir up His zeal like a man of war. He shall cry out, yes, shout aloud; He shall prevail against His enemies. 14 "I have held My peace a long time, I have been still and restrained Myself. Now I will cry like a woman in labor, I will pant and gasp at once.

14. 15 I will lay waste the mountains and hills [ earthquakes ], and dry up all their vegetation [ drought ]; I will make the rivers coastlands, I will dry up the pools.”

15. Jeremiah 25:30-32 30 The LORD will roar from on high … He will give a shout, as those who tread the grapes, against all the inhabitants of the earth.

16. Jeremiah 25:30-32 31 A noise will come to the ends of the earth -- For the LORD has a controversy with the nations; He will plead His case with all flesh. He will give those who are wicked to the sword…

17. Jeremiah 25:30-32 32 Behold, disaster shall go forth from nation to nation, and a great whirlwind shall be raised up from the farthest parts of the earth.

18. Jesus will stop oppressors (v. 14)  Earthquakes in the end times : Isaiah 2:10, 19, 21; 13:13; 29:6; Ezekiel 38:19; Haggai 2:6, 21; Zechariah 14:4-5; Hebrews 12:26-27; Rev. 6:14; 8:5; 11:13; 16:18-20. 18

19. Revelation 16:18 There was a great earthquake, such a mighty and great earthquake as had not occurred since men were on the earth…

20. 16 I will bring the blind by a way they did not know; I will lead them in paths they have not known…These things I will do for them, and not forsake them. 17 They shall be turned back [ evangelism ] … who say to the molded images, 'You are our gods.' 18 "Hear, you deaf; and look, you blind, that you may see.

21. 19 Who is blind but My servant, or deaf as My messenger whom I send? Who is blind as he who is perfect, and blind as the LORD's servant? 20 Seeing many things, but you do not observe; opening the ears, but he does not hear."  God’s people unaware of what is truly going on (Pastors not teaching it all)

22. 21 The LORD is well pleased for His righteousness' sake; He will exalt the [ Word ] … 22 But this is a people robbed and plundered; all of them are snared in holes, and they are hidden in prison houses; they are for prey, and no one delivers; for plunder, and no one says, "Restore!"

23. 23 Who among you will give ear to this? Who will listen and hear for the time to come? 24 Who gave Jacob for plunder, and Israel to the robbers? Was it not the LORD, He against whom we have sinned? For they would not walk in His ways, nor were they obedient to His {WORD}.

24. 25 Therefore He has poured on him the fury of His anger and the strength of battle; it has set him on fire all around, yet he did not know; and it burned him, yet he did not take it to heart.

25. Revelation 6:10 (KJV) And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?

26. Revelation 19:11 (KJV) And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.

27. Revelation 11:18 (NLT) The nations were filled with wrath, but now the time of Your wrath has come. It is time to judge the dead and reward your servants the prophets, as well as your holy people, and all who fear your name, from the least to the greatest. It is time to destroy all who have caused destruction on the earth.”

28. Revelation 11:15 (KJV) And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

29. 1. It begins with the acknowledgement of sin 2. That God is the author of Justice 3. That God has provided only one way the justice of God can be satisfied - that is though faith in Jesus Christ and His blood

30. 4. The bible is our ONLY source of true instruction on justice in this life 5. That Jesus will return and judge all 6. The world has a counterfeit justice that can, and will, deceive many 7. Jesus Christ will return and rule over all the earth and establish justice
