2 TOMPKINS CORTLAND COMMUNITY COLLEGE (TC3) Part of the State University of New York (SUNY), the largest university system in the U.S. We welcome over 300 international students from more than 50 countries to our Dryden, NY campus each year 200 TC3 students participate in the TC3 Professional Development Course at the Walt Disney World® Resort in Florida each year Tompkins Cortland Community College, State University of New York

7 PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT SEGMENT Consists of: Learning Reflections Essays Online discussions - Based on assigned readings and videos - Topics such as comparative culture, leadership, customer service Selected Learning Activities

12 PRACTICUM TRAINING ROLES KEY FOCUS: GUEST SERVICE Rotating: Quick Service Food & Beverage, Merchandise, Attractions Non-Rotating: Front Desk, Concierge, Lifeguard, Character Performer, Culinary, Costuming, Vacation Planner Outdoors and indoors, heat and cold Lots of standing and walking Tompkins Cortland Community College, State University of New York

13 WORK HOURS AND PAY Work late nights, early mornings, weekends, holidays Work 30 to 37.5 hours each week Overtime (40+ hours) required during peak & holiday periods 1 – 2 days off each week for class, studying, personal time $7.25 to $8.75 per hour, depending upon role Tompkins Cortland Community College, State University of New York
