7 7 Group Project 1 15% of course grade Cases provided (British Petroleum and International Enterprise Singapore) with additional materials on websites (www.bp.com and www.iesingapore.com) Use business and IS planning tools to identify strategic IS for one organization Report due 2 Sep 2002 at 12 noon (max 5 pages) –Highlight the planning tools used –List the strategic IS identified Presentation on 17 Sep 2002 and 24 Sep 2002 (max 15 minutes)

8 8 Group Project 2 45% of course grade Review and synthesize the literature on latest business and IS developments that can potentially affect business and IS planning in organizations Report due 14 Oct 2002 at 12 noon (max 20 pages) –Thorough review on one topic –Constructive synthesis of key issues –Attach the 5 most important papers reviewed Presentation on 15 Oct 2002 and 22 Oct 2002 (max 15 minutes)
