6 Result Release - Timeline Timelines as per SAS  Tue – set for review  Wed & Thur – moderation and awarding supplementary assessment/exam and CP/TP (SASO and PDs)  Fri – approve results  Sat – result release Results Entry Dates 2014

7 Finalise Course Results All assessment items have been completed Results for each assessment item has been entered in Gradebook Obtain a list of results from Grader Report Filter for students between 48 – 52 Moderate prior to setting results ‘ready for review’ in Results Entry Moderate up/down/no change within teaching team prior to setting results ‘ready for review’ in Results Entry

16 Missing/Incomplete Results Students who do not submit any work should receive a 0/F2 Timeline might not allow for all results to be finalised Communication with student(s) essential Partial post of a grade roster is possible “I” Grades (will require change of grade form)

17 Result Release - Process 1)Go to ‘Results Entry’ 2)Select Class 3)If you have already set ‘Ready for Review’, select ‘Not reviewed’ from drop down box and hit ‘enter’ (to reload the screen) 4)Check the box ‘show all students’ (on right hand side of screen) Check the box ‘Additional Requirements Satisfied’ 5)Check the box ‘Additional Requirements Satisfied’ (auto reload of screen) – this will populate the Grade Roster Results column every 6)Check that every student has an entry in the ‘Grade Roster Results’ column

18 Result Release – Process (continued) 7)If a student does not have an entry in the Grade Roster Results column, check the box in the ‘Override Grade Results Roster’ column as this will allow you to manually override the student’s grade. (moderation result/I-Grade) This is also the step where you manually override an assessment/course mark following the teaching team moderation meeting (48-52) you need to set the class to ‘Ready for Review’ 8)Once every student has an entry in the Grade Roster Results column you need to set the class to ‘Ready for Review’ in the drop down box and hit ‘save’ at the bottom. each 9)Repeat Steps 2 to 8 for each class

22 Result Release / Moderation and Secondary Assessments SASO runs CP/TP report (F1 / >40) List of students eligible for supplementary assessment/exam, conceded pass (CP)/terminating pass (TP) Meeting with SASO and PDs SASO to flag supplementary assessments/exams and enter CPs and TPs in Medici

23 Result Release SASO will email CC with supplementary assessment/exams, CPs and TPs awarded not exams SASO will email CC with supplementary assessment (not exams) and reminder of process as per APPM (with CC to PD) SASO will approve Grade Rosters in Medici usually by 12pm on the Friday

24 Secondary Assessments APPM Section 7 Deferred Exams and Supplementary Exams (administered by SAS)  Student notified by SAS/System  Exam timetable Supplementary Assessment  CC to inform student in writing with timeline

25 Secondary Assessment Results Secondary Assessment Results Roster Release of Secondary Assessment Results as per Result Entry Dates Supplementary Assessment / Exam  Result will become course result  Only SP (Supplementary Pass) / F (Fail) Deferred Exam  Full range of grades  CC to re-calculate overall course result

26 Course Review / Evaluation As per CER process – see Course Evaluation Reports (CERs) on SharePointCER process
