10 SHOULD PEOPLE READ? audio records brief contents available everywhere (for school) TV, films, video, DVDs, the Internet, downloading Consequences: no imagination no creativity poor vocabulary poor grammar wasted wisdom They enjoy it Teachers make them do it They need some info They learn from it Reading: improves our language (enriches our vocabulary) and knowledge supports our imagination, reprieve from reality we can read much faster (mostly) exploring new places, cultures, lives WHY YES? WHY NOT? A LOT OF WISDOM IN BOOKS!!!
