17 YOU NEED TO RELATE THESE POINTS TO ASDA AND NOT WRITE GENERALLY.
To meet M1 you need to add slides of information for the following headings: Managing Human Resources Managing physical resources Managing Technological resources YOU NEED TO RELATE THESE POINTS TO ASDA AND NOT WRITE GENERALLY.

18 Managing Human Resources
Having a good recruitment and selection procedure will help the business recruit the right people into the organisation. If the business can do this there is more chance that they will be successful, more efficient, satisfy customers and create more profit.

19 Managing Physical Resources
Managing physical resources means that the buildings may well be clean and in good order. If a shop is clean and in good order more customers will want to shop there. If an office is clean and in good order the employees may well feel more motivated. A well kept building may well reduce accidents. It is also important that a business uses good materials to make their products and they are made to a good quality. If they are not, customers will complain and not buy their goods anymore.

20 Managing Technological Resources
It is also important that businesses protect their own ideas with patents and respect other peoples copyright to avoid being sued. Having trained staff to be able to operate and maintain the right computer packages and systems is vital to a business so that it runs smoothly and customers remain satisfied.
