3 Competencies and Indicators BasicIntermediateAdvance able to understand the web mapping contains five vocabulary related to topic but spelled correctly and categorize them into their word class Able to understand the web mapping contains seven vocabulary related to topic with correct spelling and given definition of vocabulary word but still written incompletely or incorrectly in the map, and categorize them into their word class Able to understand the web mapping contains more than seven vocabulary related to topic with correct spelling and given definition of vocabulary word written completely or correctly in the map and categorize them into their word class

4 Semantic Mapping a generic term for graphic representations of information (Grabe, 2009, p. 258). visual organizers which help learners understand information that is usually from a reading or listening passage. When the reading materials are complex, semantic mapping can be effective for learners to understand the outlines and details of the material. Once learners are well trained to understand discourse structures and details, it is highly possible that they will become better learners with self-efficacy and self- regulation (Chularut & DeBacker, 2004).

7 Eight Parts of Speech – cont… Pronoun He is a programmer. That laptop is mine. Conjunction Laptop and mobile phone are very important. It is cheap because it has been broken. Preposition I put my laptop on table. My sister studies in SMA 1 Bandung. Interjection Oh no, I left it at home! Hey, don’t touch that wire!
