17 Final Thoughts Table of Contents “Be true to your work, you word, and your friend.” Henry David Thoreau Over the last five semesters, I have gained valuable skills that have made me a better learner and a better educator. At one point I jokingly told a professor that I could now change the world with PowerPoint. As overstated as my claim was, I have learned many strategies and tools that I can use with students and share with colleagues as a result of my studies in the Instructional Technology program. From a personal perspective, I have done my best to produce quality work; I have remained constant in my desire and commitment to learn; I have made a number of new friends...not a bad way to spend the last two years.
