2. Overall Need: The purpose of this project is to provide an easier way to become notified of any problems in the lighting system. Benefits: Notifications as soon as the problem is detected. Provides information on what parts are needed. Eliminates the probability of getting a traffic violation for a brake or turn signal light out. 3. Recent Tasks: Construction of the light system. Programming of the Arduino Mega to detect the failure of the light system. Downloaded Eclipse Program for the Android application. Gathered information for the design of the application.

4. Ongoing/Pending Tasks: Starting the basic outline of programming the application. Accessing and trying a possible solution to the common ground of the dual filament light bulb obstacle. Running the circuit in PSPICE. Connecting the detection system and the circuit together. Working on the Bluetooth for the Arduino. Working on the website.

5. Upcoming Tasks: Continue the designing the application. Starting a database of the vehicle information for the application.
