2 Green Ideas (House Hold Tips) Recycle your plastic bags, aluminum, and water bottles. If you are going to be away from your house for an extended period of time, put your water heater on “vacation or away” mode. It keeps your water warm still but will not use the energy it takes to keep a full- tank of boiling water. Try to reuse the things you would normally throw out

3 Green Ideas (Transportation tips) Try using your bike, feet, or mass transportation for most transportation needs. Even car pooling could help. Consider purchasing a Hybrid car, an Electric Motorbike or more efficient car for example the Volt or Leaf. This is a common misconception in the winter, everyone loves to “warm up” their car before they get in it. Idling hurts engines, wastes gas, and contributes to global warming and pollution.

4 Green Ideas (Office Tips) Reduce the need to copy and print. When you need to, copy and print on both sides of the paper, way better for trees, Don’t throw away anything after you use it for example, envelopes, paper clips, and folders. Create a memo board in the office instead of sending copies to each employee. Or you could just email everyone. Use reusable water bottles not throw away cups.

5 Some General Green Tips Recycle as much as possible ( Cans, Bottles, anything recyclable don’t hesitate) Reuse as much as possible (Do not throw away any household necessities) Reduce as much as possible. ( Permanent not disposable) Never litter !!!
