5. 5 Origin of E-learning in OLACEFS In the year 2004, IDI executed an Agreement with the Institute for Advanced Studies for the Americas (INEAM- OEA) with the purpose of assisting the e-learning in the Latin-American and Caribbean Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (OLACEFS)

6. 6 E-learning Year 2005 Resources Financial support from IDI Professional assistance and technological platform of INEAM Classroom Training Course on ”Performance Auditing” Experts from the Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs) of the region Results 31 on line tutors from 18 SAIS of the region trained under the Agreement IDI-INEAM E-learning Course on “Performance Auditing” (IDI-INEAM-OLACEFS) 59 auditors from 16 SAIs, trained on performance auditing. 59 out of 62 participants completed the course. The drop-out rate was 5%. The course took place with the support of 8 on line tutors of the region.
