Washington DC Arrive at KIS at 7-7:15 am, all bags stay outside! Only parents delivering meds come in, go to assigned area Bring a bagged lunch we will stop and eat around 11:00am – I would suggest bring two lunches as you will be hungry on the bus. May bring a soft drink for lunch BUT not for the bus ride- NO cans or glass open on the bus & NO energy drinks

Food Reminders Bring a lunch for the bus trip to Washington D.C. There will be no option to buy a lunch. All meals, except the first lunch, are included. You may bring pop for the hotel. Store it in your luggage underneath the bus. NO “Red Bull” or any other energy drinks. DO not include pop or milk products on the bus. Bring snacks for the bus and the hotel. Be reasonable about snacks. Too much of a good thing is not a good thing.

You are responsible for any electronic devices you bring on the bus. Luggage will be stowed under the bus, but you may bring a backpack on the bus that has your snacks, books, games, etc. You are responsible for keeping your seat clean. Trash bags will be in the front and back of the bus. These are NEW BUSES The bus will make bathroom breaks every 2 hours- DO NOT use the restroom on the bus. Only PG-13 movies- if you bring a movie please have your name on the movie case. You will be given vouchers for lunch each day-only responsible for lunch on Tuesday. Dinners are paid for as well. Please save $1 so we may tip the bus driver at the end of the trip.

More Bus Stuff… Each student shall have an assigned seat on the bus. That student is responsible for that seat. Students will stay in their seats on the bus and act appropriately. They are to follow the rules of the bus company and no gesturing is permitted to outside vehicles. Ipods, PSPs, may be used during the trip. They must be silent. These may not be used while touring the city of Washington D.C. The bathrooms are for emergencies only. They will not be used as we stop every 2 hours for bathroom breaks.

Hotel Expectations… Students will remain in their hotel rooms at all times after we arrive. One room captain will be chosen per room. He/she will leave to get pop and ice. Students may not go into any other room. Students will only leave their rooms for breakfast and when we depart for the day. Chaperones will inform students about breakfast and departure times. Whatever you bring, it is your responsibility to take it to and from the bus and in and out of the hotel. If you forget something in the hotel when we leave, we are not going back.
