17 16 Chapters Role in CMLDP Chapter should encourage applications Chapter should assist applicants –Provide a letter of support –Determine how the candidate will fit into the chapter succession plan –Determine how candidate will be involved in chapter activities for at least 2 years –Determine if any funds are available to support the applicant It is NOT the Chapter’s role to STOP an application

18 17 Metrics – Return on Expectations Rate of CMLDP graduates holding an NCMA certification to the general NCMA membership (measurers professional strength) –General membership certification (excludes CMLDP) = 8% –CMLDP certification (includes grads and students) = 18% Rate of CMLDP graduates being elected to a chapter office including president, president-elect, VP, treasurer, and secretary (measures association strength) –CMLDP grads and students holding chapter offices = 68% –Elected to president, president-elect, or VP = 34%
