2 Browser Comparisons – Convenience Using your search engines IE 9 – Click magnifying glass to right of address/search bar, choose search engine IE 8 – Click search bar, choose search engine Firefox - Click search engine icon, choose search engine Chrome - Right-click address/search bar, select “Edit search engines” – change default, only default engine is used.

3 Browser Comparisons – Convenience Controlling your Toolbars IE9, IE8 & Firefox – ALT toggles Menu Bar IE8 & 9– rt-click next to tabs, select Menu, Favorite or Command bar. Firefox – Click Firefox, Options, select Menu, Navigation & Bookmarks bar. Chrome – Wrench, Tools lets you select “Always show bookmark bar”, that’s all.

4 Browser Comparisons – Convenience Controlling your search engines #1 IE8 - Click down arrow to right of search bar, select “Manage Search Providers”, IE8 & 9 – Turn on Command Bar, click Tools, Manage Add-ons, select Search Providers you can set as default, remove, sort, disable or enable suggestions, or select “Find more providers”.

Chrome - Right-click address/search bar, select “Edit search engines” (or Wrench, Options, Search)– make default, remove or add; can also enable “Instant” for fast pages.

Chrome Highlight & right-click to search with Google Add map or translate add-on from Web Store.
