2. ART: Its preventive method of dental caries protect the tooth from further cavitations. ACT: Complex procedure need drilling of the tooth.. ART is manually cleaning by using hand instrument (excavator). ART applied in pits and fissure.

4.  Pain and discomfort is rare when use ART.  No need of anesthesia or drilling.  ART can be done in school.  Excavation to remove infected dentine.  ART are limited to single surface caries lesion and need carful case selection.  It can be applied in permanent teeth but survival rate in deciduous teeth are higher.

6.  Permanent dentition: Results indicate that ART restoration by using glass inomer material in single surface of tooth perform as well as conventional amlugum or composite restoration.

7.  Deciduase dentetion: 3 years survival of ART in diceduase teeth. 80% of ACT by using amlgum are were More comfortable in placement to the children.

8.  Failure rate of ART in single permanent tooth surface is 4-5% in first 3 years  Preventive success of ART related glass inomer is 96-98% at first 3 year.
