1 This Week our Helping Hands Project: “The Giving Chain” This week we will invite the whole school to join PRR and help the St. Charles Crisis Nursery Center. PRR will make a presentation in morning assembly. Everyone will help!

2 The Crisis Nursery Center Needs: Laundry Detergent Kid’s books Kid’s games

3 We will ask the whole school to: Donate items that the Crisis Nursery Center needs to take care of kids. There will be a big open gift box for students and staff to put these things in the hall or cafeteria. For every item or 25 cents donated, a paper chain link will be added to the “Giving Chain”

4 When will we collect items? Starting this Wednesday Dec. 5 through the following Friday Dec. 14 The last week of school before vacation we will invite Miss Amy back to school to make a big presentation of the donated items for the Crisis Nursery! This will be PRR’s gift to the community! This project will fill a lot of buckets and help little kids in need!

5 “The Giving Chain” Each class will build their own paper “Giving Chain” with the paper links from their donations. PRR will give each class special paper for this job. On Friday Dec. 14 the whole school will join all the chains into One big “Giving Chain”!

6 We are Bucket fillers! When we help other, we are bucket fillers! Won’t the kids and Miss Amy be happy we helped them!!!
