3 HISTORY  The success of Paso Robles' wineries dates back almost 100 years!  In the 1920’s world renowned statesman and concert pianist Ignace Paderewski planted Petite Sirah and Zinfandel in his vineyard. Ignace PaderewskiPetite Sirah  The wine produced from those grapes went on to become award- winners and firmly established Paso Robles as a premier wine region.

8 DISTINCTIVE CHARACTERISTICS OF PASO ROBLES’ RED WINES  Cabernet Sauvignon:  Merlot:  Syrah:  Zinfandel:  Black raspberry, black cherry, cassis, tobacco/cedar and cocoa.  Cherries, sweet spice, fresh/dried herbs, olives, red and black berries, cocoa and a rich texture.  Blackberry, white pepper, black pepper, smoky, tar, blueberry, violets, roasted game, leather and dried herbs.  Black pepper, sweet "zin" spice, red/black berries, jammy, fruit bomb, raisins and pruny.
