3 Motivation- not just for the kids! Parental support is 8 times more important in determining a child’s academic success than social class. The Campaign for Learning found that parental involvement in a child’s education can mean the difference between an A* and an ‘also- ran’ at GCSE.

6 She always panics in exams and I’m worried that she won’t cope. Always the last minute with everything. He tells me to “chill” but I seem to be the only one who is worried! I don’t understand half of what she does. How can I help? Going out again! He’s got exams coming up. I only asked what she wanted for tea. Now the door is off it’s hinges and we’re not talking- again!
