5. BPP provided free food and ran medical clinics to children In a couple of years, the BPP in Oakland fed over 10,000 children every day before they went to school. (What Did the Black Panthers Do)

6. The most interesting piece of my research is the BPP helping little kids because that’s something that I didn’t know I thought they just fought police all the time. My research enhance my understanding of the civil rights movement was that the BPP was trying to do what all African Americans were trying to do back then. Even though it ended in violence they still fought to have equal rights for blacks. I decide to organize this by putting the founders first then the reason why the started the BPP. Next I added some of their rules and last how they helped the community.
