Islam Case Study UDHR Article 18: Everyone has the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion. Sharia law bans the practice of any religion except for Islam. Universalists argue that Islam should not be a cover for avoiding UDHR, they argue that Islam oppresses women by forcing them to wear the veil and also through the male dominated system.
