This presentation and the accompanying notes (using ‘Normal’ rather than ‘Slideshow’ view) explain how to operate the spreadsheet by explaining its contents and showing example calculations. 3 How to use the DEEP LeCCATo Life Cycle Costing Tool Notes on Using LCCA Tool for Buildings PLEASE NOTE: We have kept the tool as simple as possible. As buildings are very complex and vary hugely the tool cannot tell you all you need to take into account. A whole range of costs may need to be summed up in one entry. You may need to devise your own checklist for tenders that is relevant to the particular building type and construction type. Ideally, this should be done in consultation with your maintenance staff.
