3 What exactly is curb appeal?

4 Protect and enhance the asset Average $20,000 per unit in value between the curb and the front door Sends the message “The owners who live here care about their home. This is a nice place to live!” Attracts people to your community who are also concerned with the appearance of the property

5 Makes the Community a “desired” place to live Safety Considerations Breaks downward cycle of deferred maintenance Creates emotional involvement by owners (engagement Vs. dial tone) Creates a sense of neighborhood
