Course Planning Guide How many credits do you need to graduate? 31 What is the minimum number of credits you can take each year? 7.5 (This allows for 1 study hall each term) How many credits do you earn for the following: 1 Term course 2 Term course 3 Term course

3 Graduation Requirements
How is your end of year grade calculated? YEAR grade = T1+T2+T3+T4+T5+T6+FINAL EXAM How do you fail a course for the year? You fail the majority of the terms/final exam. What happens if you fail a course? You DO NOT receive credit. You must retake the course. The F will lower your GPA.

7 Grade Point Average TRUE/FALSE—A grade of a C in an Honors/AP course is worth the same grade points as a regular class. TRUE…a C is still worth 2.0 Grade Points How can you earn ADDED VALUE to your GPA? Earn a C+ or higher in an Honors or AP Course. Honors = .04 added value AP = .06 added value
