2 NANOL TECHNOLOGIES. Ab Nanol Technologies Oy was founded in 2010 and is headquartered in Helsinki, Finland. Develops and produces innovative nanotechnology-based lubricant oil and grease additives called Nanol ®, that protect against wear and reduce friction in engines and other mechanical equipment. The vision and mission of Nanol Technologies is to provide solutions, which enable reduction of fuel and oil consumption and prolongation of the life-time of key engine and machine components. These solutions, which are based on state-of-the-art technology, are more cost competitive than any other traditional lubricant products.

6 WHY IS NANOL ® DIFFERENT? Nanol ® lubricant additive is based on next generation nanotechnology Traditional nano-additives are based on particles suspended in oil which are unstable and cause agglomeration & precipitation Poor solubility & dispersibility make these additives less effective Nanol ® is different because copper “particles” contained in reverse micelles covered by a surfactant layer within a stable colloid – particles cannot be isolated Produces a homogenous & stable system which is fully oil soluble additive and with no risk of aggregation or sedimentation Nanol ® transports the copper “particles” in the micelles to friction surfaces where they form a thin copper layer - reduces friction and provides wear protection

7 The Nanol ® additive is kept dispersed in the lubricant oil thanks to a unique reversed micelle structure in a stable colloid. 8 Lowering friction is one of the most critical issues for both engine designers and lubricant producers. Reducing internal friction increases the overall engine efficiency.
