4 European Project Semester Mainly but not only for third year Bachelor students Project based learning on integrated engineering and business projects Work in multi-disciplinary and multi-national teams Cooperating and negotiating with students from different backgrounds Focus on process and product Length: one semester, 30 ECTS credits Lodz University of Technology

5 European Project Semester International teams of 4-5 Academic and industrial research projects Projects selected from the framework of programmes offered at IFE No tuition fee Language of instruction: English Competence, creativity and responsibility Lodz University of Technology

6 Why EPS? European Project Semester the projects selected to match their specialities and capabilities as well as to develop their intercultural communication and teamwork skills. students of various engineering and business programmes work in teams on multidisciplinary projects Problem Based Learning a student-centred method allows students to gain competences in given academic fields through solving particular problems while working on a team project promotes a more independent and creative approach to learning. 18 Engineering InFEction -EPS Poland is a fast developing country and Lodz campus, where we live and study, is a place that offers a lot of valuable opportunities. The Erasmus Students Service is excellect here – local students are very hospitable and do their best to facilitate our integration into the new environment. Auxane Chalin (Sup de Co la Rochelle) IFE offers a chance to participate in one-semester EPS programme, based on an interdisciplinary project in international teams. This is a very good way to develop skills needed in individual as well as group work. In my opinion this project institutes a very useful bridge between the student and the professional environment.
