Step 1: What kind of a learner are you? Visual learners are usually neat and clean. Visual learners learn better when seeing something rather than reading. Visual learners find something to watch if they are bored. Visual learners take numerous detailed notes. Visual learners tend to sit in the front. Visual learners often close their eyes to visualize or remember something.

I like to look at something rather than read it. I am neat and tidy, I do not keep things a mess. I believe that I am a visual/verbal learner because I like to listen or visualize things. When I am bored instead of reading, or playing outside, I mostly like to watch TV. When I need to remember something I usually close my eyes and visualize it, rather than write it down or do anything else.

Step 2: Time after time The majority of my day goes by when I am sleeping. Once I wake up, I take a shower, do my hair, eat breakfast, and then walk to l. At school it takes approximately six school hours, and when I come back home I do my homework, socialize, and last I watch TV.

Step 3: Study NO NO’S Working in your Bed Working on your bed might be comfortable, but it is hard to work because it gets distracting. It get distracting because when you start working on it you can fall asleep. Studying with Friends While fun, sometimes you may lose out on quality study time by socializing. Find one good study-buddy if you like group studying. Otherwise, "just say no" when everyone wants to study together. Too much Music Noise and music can interfere with the brain’s ability to comprehend new information. It can also distract you from focusing on the material at hand. If you need music in the background, find a specific type that works well for you. When there are no lyrics, then it is easier to focus on the words on the paper in your hand. Last Minute Cramming It is ultimately terrible at long term knowledge retention and can cause undue stress. Study for days up until the test. Or, if you do prefer cramming, try cramming two nights prior to the exam so that the final night will not consist of stress. Multi-Tasking Many people are able to multi-task, meaning they can do several different things at once. When it comes to studying, you may not retain as much material as if you were to focus purely on one task. Before a big exam, drop everything else for at least 24 hours and focus purely on the studying. When it is complete, you can return to your multi-tasking.

Step 4: Study YES-YES!! The score I got was a thirty-six. I believe that the score I got is perfect for myself. I am ok where I am standing, but there is space for improvement. I should go over any notes I have after most classes. I should also find a good environment to work, otherwise I will get distracted. Though I do have good habits.

Cornell Note Taking I prefer Cornell Note Taking because it is a lot more organized and easier. I do not like Mind Mapping because I find it to be too messy, and confusing. The student divides the paper into two columns: the note-taking column (usually on the right) is twice the size of the questions/key word column (on the left). The student should leave five to seven lines, or about two inches, at the bottom of the page.

Reflection I have learned many things after doing this assignment. First of all I never new what Cornell note taking was, but apparently I was using it all along. I learned that I am more organized that I think I am. Times goes by fast every day, and now I know how the time goes by fast, I know what I can do to slow down time. I learnt how to improve myself in school, and learnt how to get better in school. Not only that, but I learnt how to get better at things, that I am terrible at doing.

That is how to become a Master Student
