 Is not designed to harm the computer  Masquerades as prize- notification pop-up windows  Designed to : o Track internet habits o Nag you with unwanted sale offers or generate traffic for their internet host

 Main mission is to serve you targeted advertisements or make your browser display certain sites or search results  Sometimes spyware tries to automatically download and install on your computer, it’s called drive-by download  Piggyback: comes from file sharing applications

 Spyware adds enhancements to web toolbar; browser add-ons  Hogs memory, RAM and processor power  Don’t click pop-ups, don’t install add-ons, do not download unknown applications, use a strong security system

 CPU: The Central Processing Unit The CPU is the brain of the computer. It is responsible for interpreting and executing most of the commands from the computer's hardware and software.  CPU Cooling Fans are used to keep computers cool and help them to keep from over heating. Computers run so fasted and rapidly, they tend to get hot and can cause problems with the computer.

 CPU  Motherboard  Hard drive  Optical drive  Memory (RAM)  CPU Case  Video card  Power supply  Cooling fan

 Case: Is the enclosure that contains most of the components of a computer.  Memory (RAM): RAM stand for Random Access Memory The RAM provides space for your computer to read and write data to be accessed by the CPU. Everything written to RAM is lost when you turn off the computer, so usually, important data is written to a long-term storage device, such as a disk or "Flash Memory".

Scale For Binary Numbers is 128 64 32 16 8 4 2 1

 8 bits is usually called a byte, and it's the size usually used to represent an alphabetic character “A" is 65, or 01000001  Kilobyte which is 1024 bytes 1024 is 2 to the 10th power.  Megabyte which is roughly a million bytes.

 A binary number can be represented by any sequence of bits, which in turn may be represented by any mechanism capable of being in two mutually exclusive states.  The binary numeral system, or base-2 number system, represents numeric values using two symbols, 0 and 1. More specifically, the usual base-2 system is a positional notation with a radix of 2. Owing to its straightforward implementation in digital electronic circuitry using logic gates, the binary system is used internally by all modern computers. 100100 200 300 400 500200300 400 500

 Cybercrime is criminal activity done using computers and the internet. This includes anything from downloading illegal music files to stealing millions of dollars from online bank accounts.

 Some ways you can prevent cyber crime are 1. Do not fill out random applications! 2. Do not put personal information on the internet!

 The virtual life becomes more appealing than real life  Although Gaming Addiction Is Not Yet Officially Recognized As A Disorder, There Is Increasing Evidence That People Of All Ages Are Addicted Or Affected By It  Even Though Its No A Disorder, There Is A Treatment Center For It 

 The lure of a fantasy world is especially pertinent to online role-playing games.  Having New Adventures To Complete And Task To Accomplish, People Keep Buying To Fulfill That Need  It Mostly Affects Children And Young Adults  Parents Try To Limit The Amount Of Time Children Play, But They Tend To Get Mad At The Attempts To Restrict Time

 Most People Start To Become Isolated And Neglect Their Priorities  Marriages Can Be Affected And The Ultimatum Given Is Either Their Significant Other Or The Video Game  School And Work Suffer Because Of This Addiction
