3. ___________Plan
A foundation plan specifies the size and material of a foundation. Information about waterproofing, excavation, and supporting structures is given on the plan.

4. ______ Plan
Floor plans show exterior and interior features such as walls, doors, windows, patios, decks, fireplaces, etc. Each floor of a house is drawn on a separate plan.

5. _______
Exterior elevations are orthographic projections of the outside of a building. Windows, doors, rooflines, steps, and chimneys are shown. Architects and designers also prepare interior elevations that show the finish details in various rooms.

An electrical plan is drawn to show where switches, outlets, panel boxes, and television jacks are located. This plan is drawn from the floor plan.

7. ___________ Details
Construction details are drawn if more information is needed to describe a construction. They include kitchens, stairs, chimneys, fireplaces, windows, doors, etc.

8. ________ Presentation
How the finished house will appear is shown on a pictorial presentation. Usually two-point perspective is used.

The location of the house is shown on a plot plan or site plan. Topography, dimensions, utilities, and other buildings are usually included as well.

Add the home, driveway, walkways, and septic system. See Fig 8-21 on page 158 as an example.
