2. 2 EDDS Error Handling 1. In case of ‘Error code: -1’ (refer below captured error message ) EDDS system need below 5 port and these port should be opened to download or print. If your PC setup firewall for these port, you will got the error message. In that case, please contact your IT infrastructure department to open the port. 3. 3 To view encrypted files, user needs to install Document SAFER. And to install Document SAFER, an ActiveX called DsUpdate must be installed first. User may change setting to allow ActiveX installation. ① Go to I.E browser “Internet Options" -> “Security" and “Internet”, “Local Intranet“. ② Click “Custom" and set “Download Signed ActiveX Control" to “Enable“ And set “Run ActiveX Controls and Plug-ins" to “Enable“. Active-X Error (Windows XP, 7 installed PC) 1) Click “Internet Option”  “Security”  “Trusted Sites” and Add below message. http://*.magnachip.com 2) Click "user definition level" button, and setup as following  Download Signed ActiveX Controls → Enable  Download Unsigned ActiveX Controls → Prompt  Initialize and Script ActiveX Controls marked as safe → Enable  Initialize and Script ActiveX Controls not marked as safe → Prompt MAGNACHIP CONFIDENTIAL.
