2. DUMUNC DUMUNC is one of the largest international conferences in the world We chose DUMUNC because it was the most affordable out of state conference that is still considered one of the most competitive conferences in the world.

3. The Trip The trip would involve leaving Thursday February 12 early in the morning. Return early in the morning on Monday February 16. We would loose 2 days of school, though this has been cleared with the administration (so they would be excused absences).

4. What the Trip includes A four day Model United Nation conference (as previously stated, it is an international conference that is recognized as one of the most competitive in the world) An in-depth Duke College tour Four nights at the Marriot Hotel Durham

5. Cost 700$ per student + personal expenses ($100-150) Cost includes the airfare (we will be flying with southwest to minimize cost), lodging, and registration. Personal expenses will primarily be taking care of food during the trip. The conference takes care of one banquet, otherwise breakfast, lunch and dinner will be taken care of individually.

6. Schedule: Day 1 Arrive at Austin-Bergstrom airport before 5:15 AM Depart from Austin at 6:00 AM Arrive at Raleigh Durham International Airport at 10:50 AM Sign in for DUMUNC at 2:00 PM Check in at the hotel at 3:00 PM 4-5 attend procedure workshop (optional) 5-6:30 eat dinner 7-8 attend opening ceremonies 8:30-11 Committee session 1

7. Schedule; Day 2 Be ready before committee, this is up to individual delegates. Breakfast, get ready etc. 10-12 Committee session 2 12:30-3:30 Lunch Break + Duke tours 3:30-6 Committee session 3 6-7:30 Dinner Break 7:30-10:00 Committee session 4
